A Lifetime of Collecting and Research

For more than fifty years, Henk Loots built an extraordinary collection devoted to the Anglo-Boer War.

His fascination began as a boy, after discovering shrapnel relics on a farm in the Wittebergen, and developed into a lifelong pursuit of collecting and research.

What makes Henk’s library particularly remarkable is its wealth of source material relating to the Anglo-Boer War from the Boer perspective — material that is often difficult to find and seldom encountered together in a collection of this depth.

Henk’s internationally recognised medal collection has a long association with City Coins. Huddy’s is privileged to now offer his Anglo-Boer War Research Library for sale.
